What we think...... |
The Vectrix electric maxi-scooter is the world's first high-performance electric two-wheel vehicle to offer all the benefits of a traditional gasoline-powered scooter but without the noise, pollution, expensive maintenance, frequent oil changes, and regular trips to the petrol station.
The Vectrix scooter was designed to outperform an equivalent motorcycle (e.g. 250 cc - 400 cc) in almost every way:
- 25% lower cost of ownership over 4 years
- Cheaper to run - electricity is 10% the cost of gas
- Zero emissions
- Very low noise
- Faster acceleration - Almost 30% faster to 50km/hr (31mp/hr) than a 250cc gas scooter
- Easier to ride - Stop and go throttle, no gears to shift
- Better handling due to low center of gravity
- Lower maintenance
- More convenient - Charge at home or the office (no need to "track down" hard to find petrol stations)
- Cleaner - Avoid messy petrol stations
- Exempt from road tax
- Lower insurance
- Attractive government incentives and rebates
- Lower licensing and registration fees
- Free parking and charging
